‘Acredito que tem bastantes jogadores de qualidade. Aquele grupo tinha bastante pegada, bastantes jogadores experientes. Dá para pegar um pouco do que tinha lá e ver que tem aqui também. Libertadores é uma competição totalmente diferente. A gente sempre aprende alguma coisa. O Atlético-MG passou com dificuldades. Os times vêm para catimba, para não deixar jogar. No jogo fora, temos que fazer, também’, declarou.

New Leeds United signing Junior Firpo is the “next level up” from Ezgjan Alioski, says Joe Wainman of the JustJoe football show.

Leeds signed Firpo from Barcelona last month in a £13m deal, while Alioski recently departed for Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli following the expiration of his contract at Elland Road.

Alioski was often used as a left-back by his former manager Marcelo Bielsa but is not a natural in that position.

In contrast, the left-back role is one Firpo is more familiar with, and Wainman is now expecting the 24-year-old to be an upgrade on the man he is succeeding.

“It’s that next level up from Ezgjan Alioski,” Wainman told TT. “He’s an actual left-back. I think that’s the thing with Bielsa, sometimes he plays players in different positions. Alioski was a winger.

“But look, Junior Firpo is really exciting. I know it didn’t work out for him at Barcelona, but when you’ve got Jordi Alba ahead of you, it’s always going to be tough.”

Alioski was certainly a good servant to Leeds, playing over 170 games for the Yorkshire club and helping them win promotion back to the Premier League after a 16-year absence.

But it was obviously time to move on and in Firpo, Bielsa now has a more natural left-back to call upon.

In the school of Chennai Super Kings cricket, they swear by a formula. Ten times six plus ten times 10 equals a winning total on a slow pitch. The corollary is, ten times six often begets ten times ten. On Thursday, Super Kings followed that formula like front-benching geeks. They reached 60 for 1 in 10 overs, then switched gears to score 109 in the last 10 with Michael Hussey and MS Dhoni turning it on like only they can. The chase was killed by the time Virender Sehwag joined David Warner and Mahela Jayawardene back in the dugout. Delhi Daredevils have lost all of their six matches in this year’s IPL.It was an all too familiar sight with Hussey back in the side and Super Kings biding their time at the start of the match, sizing up their prey. Suresh Raina seemed to struggle to find his touch a bit, but they reached that preliminary 60 in 10 without much drama. Just like that Raina drove Umesh Yadav over cover in the 11th over, and Super Kings were on their way.In the next over, when Hussey pulled Ajit Agarkar over midwicket for a six, his strike rate finally crossed a run a ball. Despite Raina’s wicket, the five overs immediately after the 10th went for 9, 14, 11, 10 and 12. A bit of it had to do with Dhoni, who not only finally came out to bat at four, but came with the switch flicked on that told him he didn’t need to block at the start of the innings.The first ball Dhoni faced he pulled disdainfully through midwicket for four, and you knew bad things were going to happen to bowlers. And then, horror of horrors, Agarkar, one of the best fielders among Indian quicks, dropped him at long-off. Dhoni would have gone for 17 off 10 had it been taken. That was also a period when Daredevils were trying to play games with that formula of ten times 10.That Yadav over brought only seven, and in the next over Irfan Pathan conceded just four of the first five balls. Hussey, though, drilled the last one through long-off to reopen the flood gates. He went from 24 off 27 to 65 not out off 50. And Dhoni, by the time he played a dot ball he had reached 32 off 15, and would go on to add 12 off eight more.The thing with Daredevils, though, is you can’t count them out lest one of their big three has a crazy day with the bat. Haryana quick Mohit Sharma, coming back like Hussey, quickly put paid to that. First he got a bottom edge from Warner, and then had Sehwag holing out to deep midwicket. In between, Chris Morris got Jayawardene lbw. After that Dwayne Bravo kept taking catches and danced into the night.

Revelado na base do Tricolor e promovido ao time profissional no ano passado, Luan fez seu primeiro treino com o elenco nesta temporada. Isto porque, o volante estava no Chile disputando o Sul-Americana Sub-20, onde a Seleção Brasileira ficou com o quinto lugar e não conseguiu vaga para o mundial da categoria.

De volta ao São Paulo, Luan pode ser escalado como titular no jogo de quarta, contra o Talleres, no Morumbi. Vale lembrar que o Tricolor perdeu o jogo de ida por 2 a 0, e precisa vencer por três ou mais gols de diferença para seguir adiante. Caso a equipe faça 2 a 0, a decisão será nos pênaltis.

وواصل: “بدأنا بطريقة 4 في الخلف وأحمد فتوح كان الظهير الأيسر وفي حال امتلاك الكرة يضم في وسط الملعب، نعمل بشكل مكثف يوميًا على وضع اللاعبين في مواقف فنية قد تحدث داخل المباريات ونعمل على تحسين إنهاء الهجمة بشكل جماعي، ومهاجمنا سيف الجزيري جيد جدًا أمام المرمى ويحتاج إلى تحسين بعض الأمور البسيطة ليكون مفيدًا بشكل أكبر”.

Arthur said Lyon needed to work on some technical aspects of his game after the Chennai defeat and also had to regain his confidence after being battered by MS Dhoni during his remarkable double-century.”Nathan and I have spoken at length about the summer he’s had,” Arthur said. “Nathan is going to be a very good spin bowler bowler for Australia. It doesn’t mean we don’t back him anymore, we just think it was the right time after Chennai just to give him a little bit of a break. At stumps on the second day, Doherty had taken 0 for 85 and Maxwell had 0 for 55.”We thought the Indian middle-order played the offspin particularly well in Chennai,” Arthur said. “We wanted somebody who could turn it away as our primary resource, which gave Xavier an opportunity. I thought he went very well today, he toiled manfully. He went about three an over which was pretty decent. Xavier gave us what we know Xavier can.”Glenn was always going to be the other option. We felt that we would have another spinner and if we had another spinner, we wanted a guy who would bring more to the party. He was another allrounder, a guy that could bat eight and bat deep for us and give us something in the field. That’s what we want with Maxi primarily as the second spinner.”Arthur conceded that Maxwell had bowled “not very well today” but hoped he had learnt a lot from the experience of working against such good players of spin. Maxwell, Doherty, Lyon and the batting allrounder Steven Smith were the spin options in Australia’s squad, while the leading Sheffield Shield spinner this season, Steve O’Keefe, was overlooked. O’Keefe has 17 wickets at 26.76 this summer and took eight in a match just before the squad was picked.”Stephen O’Keefe has got a really good record,” Arthur said. “Xavier Doherty bowled outstandingly well for us in the one-day series against Sri Lanka. Michael Beer would have been here if he didn’t get injured. That caused us to reshuffle a little bit. We picked Xavier over Stephen primarily because we thought Xavier was bowling exceptionally well, which he was in the one-day series at that particular time.”Not that Australia’s dire situation after two days in Hyderabad was all down to the bowling. The batsmen let the team down severely on the first day by stumbling to 63 for 4 before Michael Clarke and Matthew Wade rescued them from embarrassment. Still, Australia’s 237 for 9 was already looking paltry a day later when India went to stumps at 311 for 1.”We had a pretty tough chat with our batsmen this morning because we thought they’d probably wasted a bit of an opportunity yesterday,” Arthur said. “I do think we should have got more in our first innings without a doubt.”

Ao contrário de 2017 e 2018, quando iniciou a temporada com a equipe praticamente definida, Carille vai tentando encontrar o time ideal aos poucos. Mas ele mesmo admite que ainda vai demorar…

Isso porque há jogadores sendo liberados pelo departamento médico, como Ralf (que atuou), Gabriel e Clayson. Além disso, Vagner Love ainda nem estreou, e Carille aguarda novas contratações nas próximas semanas.

– Vamos demorar um pouquinho mais para definir a equipe – avisou Carille.

Foram apenas quatro jogos oficiais em 2019, além do amistoso contra o Santos e o jogo-treino diante do Nacional na pré-temporada. Na próxima rodada, o Timão terá seu maior desafio até agora: o primeiro clássico oficial, contra o Palmeiras, no Allianz Parque. وانتهى اللقاء بفوز إشبيلية بركلات الترجيح بعد التعادل في الوقتين الأصلي والإضافي بهدف لمثله، ليُتوج باللقب السابع في تاريخه.

واستهدف البرتغالي جوزيه مورينيو، الحكم الإنجليزي أنتوني تايلور بعد المباراة وتوجه له عند سيارته وتعدى عليه لفظيًا بألفاظ مهينة.
