صحيفة “موندو ديبورتيفو” الإسبانية، أكدت أن برشلونة تواصلوا بالفعل مع وكيل اللاعب، لعقد اجتماع الأسبوع المقبل أو ما يليه، لحسم الأمور بشأن استمرار اللاعب الفرنسي صاحب الـ25 عامًا.

O presidente Andrés Sanchez costuma sustentar que não é favorável à troca de treinadores e seu histórico no Corinthians mostra isso. Este ano, no entanto, houve uma mudança considerável nesta postura. Com a demissão de Jair Ventura e a iminente chegada de Fábio Carille, o dirigente terá feito três trocas de comando nesta temporada de retorno ao clube. É um recorde, pois iguala o total de mudanças de sua gestão passada, que teve dois mandatos de 2007 a 2011.

O Corinthians começou o ano com Carille, que saiu para o Al-Wehda, da Arábia Saudita, e fez com que a diretoria efetivasse Osmar Loss. O auxiliar, porém, durou pouco. Caiu após resultados ruins no Campeonato Brasileiro e abriu espaço para a chegada de Jair Ventura, demitido na última segunda-feira após brigar contra o rebaixamento no nacional. Prestes a ser anunciado, Carille fecha a terceira troca de comando no primeiro ano da nova gestão Andrés. Cenário bem diferente da outra passagem do dirigente.

Andrés foi eleito presidente do Corinthians pela primeira vez em outubro de 2007. Na época, o time era dirigido por Nelsinho Baptista e brigava contra o rebaixamento no Brasileiro. A queda não pôde ser evitada. Logo após o fatídico jogo do rebaixamento contra o Grêmio, em Porto Alegre, o dirigente disse que quem quisesse rir do clube, aproveitasse o momento, pois não iria rir mais. Ali, ele iniciava uma das eras mais vencedoras da história do clube, pautada na manutenção de treinadores a longo prazo.

Para comandar o time na Série B e tocar o projeto da retomada, Andrés contratou Mano Menezes e só foi perdê-lo em 2010. Forçado. Mano saiu para assumir a Seleção Brasileira no lugar de Dunga.

Para o lugar do gaúcho, Andrés contratou Adilson Baptista, que vinha de bom trabalho no Cruzeiro. O objetivo era ser campeão brasileiro, já que o Timão brigava com o próprio clube mineiro e o Fluminense. No entanto, Adilson fracassou e caiu pouco tempo depois após uma sequência de maus resultados. Viria, então, a terceira, última e mais importante troca de comando na era Andrés.

Para substituir Adilson, um outro gaúcho, aquele que se tornaria um dos maiores comandantes da história do clube: Tite. De volta ao Corinthians após uma passagem fracassada em 2005, o atual técnico da Seleção Brasileira deu continuidade ao projeto que faria o Timão conquistar tudo, inclusive a tão sonhada Libertadores. Mas o começo não foi fácil e a postura de Andrés de não mudar de treinador foi determinante para que a história do treinador não fosse interrompida. No início de 2011, o Corinthians foi eliminado da fase preliminar da Libertadores pelo modesto Tolima, da Colômbia. A derrota vergonhosa deixou o treinador por um fio, mas ele foi bancado por Andrés. Resultado: no mesmo ano, foi campeão brasileiro e, no ano seguinte, veio a Libertadores e o Mundial.

Andrés largou a presidência do Corinthians ainda em fevereiro de 2011, para dar lugar a seu diretor Mário Gobbi, mas o clube seguiu com a filosofia de trocar pouco de treinador. Dos grandes, é dos que menos mudou nos últimos anos. Desde 2008 até o início de 2018, o clube havia tido apenas seis treinadores: Mano (duas vezes), Adilson Baptista, Tite (duas vezes), Oswaldo de Oliveira, Cristóvão Borges e Fábio Carille. Sendo que desses, apenas Adilson, Oswaldo e Cristóvão foram demitidos. Este ano, por outro lado, o clube já demitiu Loss e Jair Ventura.

Andrés tem mandato até novembro de 2020. Como a ideia é fechar um contrato de dois anos com Carille, até dezembro de 2020, é possível que essa seja a última mudança de comando de sua gestão. Isso se for levado em conta o passado e não o momento do dirigente.

– Eu ouço informações e pergunto para o presidente quem está falando por nós. Quem é que está respondendo pelos valores?

O questionamento de Flávio Adauto durante entrevista à Rádio Jovem Pan diz respeito à negociação entre Corinthians e o atacante marfinense Didier Drogba, de 38 anos. Adauto é diretor de futebol do Corinthians há quase três meses, e teoricamente um dos principais responsáveis pelas transações de jogadores envolvendo o clube. Das conversas com aquele que seria a maior contratação de um clube brasileiro em 2017, porém, o diretor do Timão não participa. Nem o gerente e nem o presidente.

Isto porque o “plano Drogba” foi elaborado, conduzido e pode ser definido neste início de semana por pessoas que não trabalham no Corinthians e, também teoricamente, não têm qualquer poder de decisão em relação às contratações do clube.

De Vampeta a André Campoy – Ex-jogador do Corinthians e atual presidente do Osasco Audax e comentarista de rádio, Vampeta foi a primeira pessoa ligada ao Timão a cogitar o nome de Didier Drogba. Durante uma transmissão esportiva, o pentacampeão discutiu com outros jornalistas sobre os jogadores de renome internacional que atuavam na MLS, o campeonato norte-americana de futebol. Drogba, então no Montreal Impact (CAN) era só o 12º jogador mais bem pago da liga. “O Drogba só ganha isso?”, surpreendeu-se Vampeta. A conclusão geral foi de que o astro marfinense recebia um salário que um grande clube brasileiro poderia pagar.

Vampeta é amigo pessoal do empresário André Campoy, que é ex-conselheiro do Corinthians e ligado a diversas pessoas que ainda participam da política no clube. Campoy tinha a ideia de indicar um jogador à diretoria, alguém de renome, que pudesse “dar uma agitada no mercado”, como ocorreu com o Ronaldo Fenômeno em 2008 – dirigentes do clube ouvem indicações, sugestões e pedidos diariamente no Parque São Jorge. Em uma conversa informal, Vampeta lembrou do nome de Drogba, daquela história que ele não ganhava muito, e passou a Campoy.

De André Campoy a Andrés Sanchez e, enfim, ao Corinthians – Animado com a perspectiva relacionada ao nome de Drogba, André Campoy iniciou contatos. Ele buscou os representantes do marfinense para descobrir as condições do negócio e, especialmente, o ex-presidente Andrés Sanchez, ainda muito influente no dia a dia do Parque São Jorge. A sugestão foi bem aceita e o ex-presidente levou o caso em frente, abrindo conversas com Eduardo Ferreira, que naquela ocasião ainda trabalhava como diretor-adjunto de futebol do Corinthians.

Baseado nas informações de Campoy, Ferreira se animou com a possibilidade de contratação de Drogba e trabalhou o nome nos bastidores. Um forte apoiador da iniciativa foi Gustavo Herbetta, então superintendente de marketing do Corinthians, e que passou a buscar parcerias e planejar ações de marketing relacionadas ao jogador – a ideia era que o recurso obtido com este tipo de mobilização ajudasse a pagar os salários do marfinense. As movimentações de bastidores de Ferreira e Herbetta representaram o único momento em que pessoas contratadas pelo Corinthians discutiram a situação de Drogba.

De volta aos bastidores – Eduardo Ferreira pediu demissão do Corinthians em 14 de outubro e Gustavo Herbetta em 8 de janeiro, por razões distintas. Naquele momento, porém, as conversas com Drogba já haviam tido avanços: por meio de um representante, o jogador fez exigências financeiras e contratuais para aceitar jogar no Corinthians. As condições foram repassadas pelo empresário André Campoy à diretoria do clube, então já comandada por Flávio Adauto, Alessandro Nunes e o presidente Roberto de Andrade.

É isso que explica a oposição de Adauto ao negócio, que não foi conduzido por ele em nenhum momento. Em entrevista ao jornal “Estado de São Paulo”, o diretor chegou a dizer que “o departamento de futebol não entrou nessa história”, “não aprova essa intenção” e que “o caso não irá prosperar”. O presidente Roberto de Andrade, porém, se animou ao notar que o Corinthians conseguiria corresponder a todas as exigências de Drogba, convenceu o departamento de futebol e assinou um documento oficial de vínculo.

Do Brasil à Europa – Apesar da saída do Corinthians, Gustavo Herbetta manteve conversas com os profissionais do clube sobre o “projeto Drogba”. Por isso, ele foi escolhido para viajar à Europa como um emissário do Corinthians. Segundo André Campoy, que fez a ponte com os representantes de Drogba no primeiro momento, Herbetta levou uma camisa de número 11 na bagagem, além de vídeos da torcida do Corinthians e outros artifícios que pudessem convencer o marfinense a jogar no Brasil.

Na Europa, um representante que não trabalha no Corinthians negociou condições contratuais com o empresário de Drogba, que pouco sabe sobre as conversas e deve tomar conhecimento dos detalhes apenas neste início de semana, quando enfim as negociações deverão ser repassadas ao departamento de futebol alvinegro e muito provavelmente encerradas.

England’s batting celebrity Sir Len Hutton remains the only batsman in Test history to be given out for deliberately ‘obstructing the field’. A ball from South Africa’s Athol Rowan hit Hutton’s bat handle and rose straight up in the air. The batsman swiped it away with the intention of preventing the ball from falling on to the wicket. Six season’s after Hutton’s ‘obstructing the field’ incident, South Africa’s Russell Endean himself became the first batsman in Test annals to be given out for ‘handling the ball’ in January 1957 when he padded away a ball from England’s Jim Laker. Pakistan bowler Sarfraz Nawaz, unsportingly appealed for a ‘handled the ball’ dismissal under the laws of the game and the umpire had to concede the appeal. This was an unsavoury incident. The batsman was merely performing an act of courtesy in handing back the ball. The first deliberate non-striker running-out had taken place in December 1947 when Vinod Mankad ran out Bill Brown at the bowler’s end when the Aussie opener backed up too far before the ball was delivered. Mankad had warned the same player a month earlier in a side game against an Australian XI on the same ground before actually delivering the ball. He threatened to run him out in earnest if he attempted to do so again. Mankad kept his word. In One-day International Cricket there have been five ‘unusual’ dismissals to date involving Rameez Raja (1), Mohinder Amarnath (2), Kapil Dev (1) and Dipak Patel (1).Rameez Raja (Pakistan) became the first batsman to be dismissed ‘obstructing the field’ in ODIs when he hit the ball with his bat to avoid being run out when taking a second run trying to complete his hundred on the final ball of the match.Mohinder Amarnath (India) became the second player to be dismissed for ‘obstructing the field’ in ODIs when he kicked a ball away from the bowler to prevent being run out.Mohinder Amarnath (India) was also involved in ‘handling the ball’ in the second final of the World Series Cup at Melbourne, 1985-86 which Australia won by 7 wickets.Kapil Dev (India) “mankaded” Peter Kirsten, the non-striker, backing up too far before the ball was delivered. O equatoriano apenas correu em volta dos campos do centro de treinamento e fez exercícios leves acompanhado dos fisioterapeutas do clube. Por determinação da comissão técnica do Tricolor, a atividade desta quinta teve a presença dos jornalistas apenas nos 15 minutos iniciais da atividade. Na próxima sexta, o último treino do São Paulo antes do jogo do fim de semana, Arboleda deve trabalhar com bola junto de seus companheiros.

Como Anderson Martins levou cartão vermelho contra o Internacional, e o lateral Bruno Peres está suspenso por conta do terceiro cartão amarelo, o retorno de Arboleda era vital para o planejamento da comissão técnica para o duelo com o Furacão.
